Eleanor G. Kelly, 93, of New Castle, passed away the evening of November 24, 2020 at Shenango on the Green in New Wilmington. Born August 15, 1927 in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late Walter C. and Grace (Passeretti) Pearl. She married Elmer A. Kelly on February 26, 1948 in Neshannock Presbyterian Church, New Castle, PA, and he preceded her in death on October 24, 1997. She was a lifelong member of Neshannock Presbyterian Church and served as church treasurer for 50 years and also taught Sunday school. She was a graduate of East Brook High School and New Castle Business College. Eleanor worked at Shenango China Credit Union, New Castle Credit Bureau and had a childcare business in her home for many years. Eleanor is survived by her children Thomas (Karen) Kelly, Elaine Kelly and Janet Kelly; grandchildren Nicole Bradley, Cynthia (Tim) Fogelsanger and Emily (AJ) Orelli; and great-grandchildren Damiana, Finnaeus, Taryn, Annae and Arwen Bradley; Brooke and Maya Fogelsanger; and Taylor and Leah Orelli. She is also survived by sisters Grace Pontius and Anita (Robert) Kosek, and sister-in-law Carol Pearl. In addition to her parents and husband, Eleanor was preceded in death by her brother, Walter Pearl, Jr., and brother-in-law, Richard Pontius. Per her request, there will be no calling hours. A private service will be held for immediate family only, with the service conducted by Rev. John Yergan. Burial will be in Neshannock U.P. Church Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the R.
