Eleanor M. Masone, 90, of the Overlook Medical Clinic, New Wilmington, passed away the morning of April 16, 2012 in UPMC Horizon Health in Farrell.Born February 1, 1922 in Rankin, PA, she was a daughter of Samuel and Helen Panella Coppola.She married Victor Masone on July 3, 1944. He preceded her in death on May 18, 1999.She was a homemaker and formerly a nurse's aid.Eleanor loved playing the piano. She enjoyed being involved with her church, the Church of the Nazarene, where she was a charter member. Most of her life was committed to serving others because she had a servant's heart.She is survived by one daughter, Mary E. McConkey of Luna Pier, Michigan; two sons, Guy S. Masone of Bessemer and Dr. Victor Masone, Jr. and his wife Nancy of Edinboro; three brothers, Daniel Coppola and Frank Coppola of Florida, and Timothy Coppola of San Francisco, CA; seven grandchildren, Rochell Shaftic, Victor Masone, III, Anthony Masone, Chris Masone, Kari Masone, Dr. Isha Butler, and Nathan McConkey; and 11 great-grandchildren.In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Priscilla Coppola; and two brothers, David and Kenneth Coppola.Visitation will be held Thursday, Aprul 19, 2012, from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. and Friday, Aprul 20, 2012, from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road.A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 20. 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. The Rev. Dennis Durfee will officiate.
