Elene H. McClimans, age 86, of New Castle, passed away Dec. 4, 2021, at Rhodes Estates. Born March 14, 1935, in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late John A. Macko and Helen (Bohizic) Macko Alfredo. On Sept. 13, 1963, she married her husband of 57 years, Paul M. McClimans. He preceded her in death on Dec. 19, 2020. Elene was a graduate of Union High School. She attended Youngstown State University and went to Cosmetology School. For twelve years, she worked in the Credit & Collections Dept. at Penn Power. Elene loved golfing, walking, and playing the organ. Elene was a member of Victory Christian Center, New Wilmington Campus, where she was active in the hospital visitation ministry and was an usher and greeter. Elene is survived by one daughter, Susan Cameron of Ocala, FL. In addition to her parents, and husband, Elene was preceded in death by one daughter, Karen Rose McClimans and one brother, Richard Macko. Visitation will be held on Thurs. Dec. 9th from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle. A service will take place at 11:00 AM, at the funeral home, with Pastor Rob Cypher, of Victory Christian Center, New Wilmington campus, officiating. Burial will be at Oak Park Cemetery, alongside her husband, Paul.
