Elliot Charles Hartje, age 39, of Bethel Park, PA, passed away May 28, 2023, at his residence.

Born June 11, 1983, in New Castle, PA, he was the son of the late Edward G. Hartje, III, and Carol Ann (Zona) Hartje, who survives.

Elliot was a graduate of Kennedy Catholic Middle/High School. He graduated from WyoTech earning his certification in automotive mechanics. Upon graduation from WyoTech, he became a certified Toyota auto technician, until 2015 when he joined a manufacturing company where he worked himself up to maintenance manager, overseeing two plants. A devoted and loving father, he accompanied his son to Memorial Sloan Kettering, (MSKKids) in New York City. Elliot was of the Catholic faith.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by one son, Anthony Charles Hartje-Martino of Bethal Park, PA; one brother, Edward (Danielle) Hartje, of New Castle, PA; and two nieces, Ally Jo and Addison Hartje.

Along with his father, Elliot was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Charles and Clara Zona; and his paternal grandparents, Edward and Alice Hartje, II.

A mass of Christian burial will be held Monday June 5th at 11:00 AM at St. Vitus Catholic Church, 910 S. Mercer St., New Castle, PA 16101.

Burial will be at Homewood Cemetery, 1599 S. Dallas Ave., Pittsburgh, PA.
