Emanuel Morrone, Jr., age 71 of New Castle, passed away the afternoon of February 21, 2019, at UPMC Jameson Hospital. Born March 28, 1947, in New Castle, he was the son to the late Emanuel and Nancy (Marinelli) Morrone, Sr. On June 5, 1971, Emanuel married his beloved wife of 47 years, Susan (Potter) Morrone. She survives at home. Mr. Morrone was a 1965 Shenango High School graduate. He went onto further his education graduating from Westminster College in 1969. He was the owner of New Castle Auto Wrecking and a member of St. Joseph's the Worker church. His biggest enjoyment in life, was having Sunday dinner with his grandchildren. Emanuel will always be remembered as a loving and caring husband, father and grandfather. Along with his wife Susan, Emanuel is survived by two sons; Adam (Julie) Morrone and Jason (Alexandra) Morrone, both of New Castle, one brother; Charles Morrone of New Castle, five sisters; Angeline DiSanti of Cranberry PA, Anne Meluso of New Jersey, Mary Ann Marzula of New Castle, PA, Roselee Caiazza of Pittsburgh, PA, Nancilee Elliott of Cranberry, PA and six grandchildren; Natalie, Jaclyn, Ava, Geno, Ryan and Luca. In addition to his parents, Emanuel was preceded in death by three brothers; Paul, Anthony and Joe Morrone, and one sister; Theresa Stockman. A Mass of Christian burial to honor Emanuel's life, will be held on Monday February 25th at 10:00 AM, at St. Vitus Church, 910 S. Mercer Street, New Castle, with Father Molka officiating.
