Emery James Yuhasz, Jr., age 74, passed away at Edison Manor, New Castle, PA on Dec. 11, 2016. He was a son of Emery Yuhasz, Sr. and Virginia (McGonnell) Yuhasz, born in Meadville, PA. He graduated from St. Agatha's and later completed a landscape design course at Penn State. He had a small nursery-landscaping business in Meadville, and then in Franklin, PA. While living in Meadville, he worked at Avtex and also as a rural mail carrier. He later completed a welding course and worked at Joy Manufacturing in Franklin, PA. He also worked as a Boilermaker and as a welding inspector. He loved reading about history and sports. And he enjoyed sharing interesting or humorous sports and history stories with family and friends. He enjoyed older country, bluegrass and Irish music. While at Edison Manor he was active in resident council and was generally the first to sign up for activities. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother-in-law Michael Daly. He is survived by a brother, Joseph Yuhasz, a sister, Eileen Daly, two daughters, Andrea Buckley and Amy Yuhasz, a grandson and numerous nieces and nephews. He had been married to Marcella Fisher, who is deceased. Emery requested no services. Memorial donations made to Meadville Public Library, 848 N.
