Emily C. Bejgrowicz, 83, of New Castle, passed away the morning of August 1, 2012 at Jameson Hospital.Born November 2, 1928 in Bayonne, New Jersey, she was a daughter of Joseph and Mary Jazwick Majewski. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent S. Bejgrowicz.She was formerly employed with Bender Brothers and Western Electric.Emily loved taking care of her cat, Buttons, and spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed bingo.She attended First United Methodist Church.Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Vincent J. and Cheryl Bejgrowicz of New Castle, and Richard P. and Sondra Bejgrowicz of West Milford, NJ; a sister, Helen Wright of Manchester, NJ; a sister-in-law, Betty Majewski of Bayonne, NJ; and three grandchildren, Iris, Vivian and Richard Bejgrowicz Jr.In addition to ther husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, John Majewski; and two sisters, Josephine Bigotto and Frances Zdziarski.Visitation will be held on Friday, August 3, 2012, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. and Saturday, August 4, 2012, from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle.A funeral service will be held immediately following visitation on Saturday, August 4, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. The Rev. Richard Helsel will officiate.
