Emma Ruth Keely, 100, formerly of Adams Street, passed away the afternoon of December 25, 2011 in Haven Convalescent Home.Born March 4, 1911 in New Castle, she was a daughter of William J. and Ida Mae Woods Campbell. She was married to Earl D. Keely who preceded her in death December 24, 1957.Emma was a homemaker and was a member of Third Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed crocheting and gardening.She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, William E. and Charlotte Keely; a daughter and son-in-law, Linda and James McKay all of New Castle; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Hazel Mansell, Mildred Onash and Edythe Johnston; two brothers, Howard and Wilbur Campbell; and an infant daugther.Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2011 from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road.A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2011, at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The Rev. James A. Cannistraci of First United Methodist Church of Ellwood City will officiate.
