Erma H. McFarland Crowe, age 92, of Slippery Rock, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 18th, 2015 at the Overlook Medical Center. Born Jan. 14th, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Martha Nelson McFarland. Erma married William H. Crowe on June 25, 1943, he preceded her in death on Dec. 6th, 1991. Erma was a graduate of Harlansburg High School and was a devoted homemaker. She attended Rose Point Reformed Presbyterian Church and enjoyed shopping and bingo. Survivors include one son, Russell L. Crowe (Sharon) of Royal Center, In., a daughter-in-law Sandra J. Crowe of Slippery Rock, Pa. 4 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. In addition to her husband and parents Erma was preceded in death by 3 brothers Gaylord, Raymond, and Kenneth McFarland, 1 sister Gertrude Graham, 2 granddaughters Kathleen and Mary Ann Crowe and 2 sons Ronald Crowe and Paul Crowe who passed away on the same day as his mother. Visitation well be held on Tuesday from 10:00 am until the time of the service at 11:00 am at the funeral home with the Rev. Andrew Jillson officiating.
