Ernestine 'Tina' Salle, age 91, of Neshannock Twp., passed away the early morning of Dec. 8, 2022, at UPMC Jameson Hospital.

Born May 20, 1931, in Tupelo, MS, she was the daughter of the late John Troy and Robbie Elizabeth (Harrison) Kelley.

She married Edward James Salle who preceded her in death on April 23, 2016.

Tina was employed by Liberty Mutual, as a mail room clerk, for 15 years. In her younger days, she was a candy striper, enjoying the time she spent helping patients. She enjoyed tennis, bowling, skiing, crocheting, knitting, traveling to other countries and being a part of a book club with her friends. What gave Tina the most joy in life, was spending time and cooking for her family. She was a member of St. Camillus – Holy Spirit Parish Church.

Tina is survived by her sons, David (Joan) Miller of Schererville, IN, James Salle of Columbus, OH, Timothy (Monica) Salle of New Castle, PA; two brothers, Kenneth and Charles Kelley; 8 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her siblings, Thurman, Merle, Spencer, Harrison, J.C., Eddie Wayne, Bernice, Mozelle, Louise, Merbalyn and one son, Michael Miller.

Visitation will be held on Mon., Dec. 12 from 5:00 – 6:00 PM at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle.

A blessing service will take place, at the funeral home, immediately following visitation at 6:00 PM.

Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery.
