Eudora Vida "Smiley" Goff, age 91, passed away the afternoon of July 16, 2016 at her residence on Frew Mill Road, New Castle. Born December 22, 1924 in Warren, Pa., she was the daughter of Lester D. and Florence L. Tunstall Goff. Eudora was a member of AMVETS and the Women's Military Auxiliary Post #281. She attended Life Lawrence County and First United Brethren Church. She was an avid reader and had a collection of several books. She is survived by one brother, Penrith B. Goff of Michigan; two sisters-in-law, Shirley Goff of New Castle and Joanne Goff of Ellwood City; and seven nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Berwick, Walney, Dalton and Given Goff. A funeral service will be held on Friday at 1:00 p.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle with the Rev. David Bell officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.
