Evelyn C. "Mitz" Fye, 85, of Columbia, PA, formerly of Edinburg, passed away the evening of Aug. 2, 2011 at Susquehanna Nursing & Rehab.Born June 2, 1926, she was the daughter of Joseph and Mary Deprano Cercelli. Evelyn married Clyde V. Fye on Sept. 12, 1948 and he passed away April 19, 1977.She graduated from Union High School. Evelyn worked as a food server at the Union High School cafeteria and was a self employed beautician in Edinburg for 30 years.She enjoyed crocheting and cooking.Evelyn was a member of Nashua Orthodox Presbyterian Church in Edinburg.She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Marianne Fye of Elizabethtown, PA; three grandchildren, Brian Fye, Allison Heide and Benjamin Fye; and four great grandchildren, Gabriel Heide, Charlotte Heide, Jazmine Fye and Sophia Fye.In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Jean Cercelli.A private family visitation will be held at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road.A private family service will be conducted at the funeral home. The Rev.
