Evelyn Louise West, 74, of 3863 Harlansburg Road, New Castle, died the night of May 31, 2010 at her daughter's home in Pittsburgh.Born August 4, 1935 in Plain Grove, PA, she was a daughter of Weldon Glenn and Mary Reitz Flack. She married William West on February 2, 1956. He preceded her in death on November 30, 2007.She graduated from Plain Grove High School and was a homemaker.Mrs. West enjoyed baking, playing bingo, shopping and spending time with her family.She was a member of Neshannock Presbyterian Church in New Castle.Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Pamela West Van der zee and husband Michael of Pittsburgh, and Brenda West Thompson and husband Doug of New Castle; three sisters, Sarah Cooper of Harlansburg, Mae Morrow of Arizona, and Ellie Houk of Harlansburg; and six grandchildren, Olivia, Natalie, Marjke and Kees Van der zee, and Andrew and Rian Thompson.In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by one daughter, Barbara West, one brother, Ray Flack and one sister, Jean Tennent.Visitation will be held Thursday, June 3, 2010, from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle.A funeral service will be held Friday, June 4, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Rev.
