Flora Belle Bartley, age 92 of New Castle, passed away the afternoon of October 15, 2020 at UPMC Jameson Care Center. Born February 27, 1928, in Butler County, PA, she was the daughter of Howard E. and Maude J. (Davis) Graham. On November 24, 1951, she married her beloved husband Albert W. Bartley. He preceded her in death. Flora was a 1946 graduate of New Wilmington High School. She worked at Islay's in New Wilmington, for several years. What gave Flora the most joy in life, was spending time with her family. She was of the Presbyterian faith. She is survived by two daughters Karen (George) Ferguson of Marienville, PA; Sherry (William) Hohmann of New Castle, PA; one son, Dennis Bartley of New Castle; daughter-in-law, Patty Bartley of New Castle; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Flora is preceded in death by one son, Howard Bartley, six sisters and five brothers. Visitation will be Monday, October 19th from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle. Visitors are asked to adhere to the CDC guidelines regarding wearing face masks and practicing social distancing. A private family service will be held immediately following visitation. Burial will be at Zion Baptist Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association.
