Floyd E. Lewis, 67, of Live Oak Court, Lake Mary, Florida passed away in Florida on March 18, 2010.Born in New Wilmington, PA on May 10, 1942 he was the son of the late Glen and Margaret Neil Lewis. He was previously married to Bonnie Cater Highlander. Floyd was an certified financial officer. He was a graduate of Wilmington High School, Youngstown State University and received a Masters Degree from Michigan State. Floyd proudly served his country in the Army from February 1968 to January 1970. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, he was an outdoorsman and enjoyed spending time with his granddaughter.Floyd is survived by three sons, John Lewis of Charlotte, N.C., Christopher Lewis of Orlando, FL, Matthew Lewis of Orlando, FL, one sister, Ina Donner of West Middlesex, PA and one granddaughter, Jordan Lewis of Orlando, FL.He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, William G. Lewis and Frances Ralph Lewis.Visitation will be on Friday, March 26, 2010 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Rd., New Castle, PA 16105.A memorial service will take place on Friday, March 26, 2010 at 11:00 am at the funeral home with the Rev. Kenneth M. Meyer officiating.
