Frances Kucharski, 86, of 3331 S. Parkside Drive, formerly of S. Lee Avenue, passd away the morning of June 23, 2010 at her residence.Born October 8, 1923 in New Castle, she was a daughter of Joseph F. and Victoria Smialowski Boron. She married Frank J. Kucharski who preceded her in death on January 24, 1990. Frances was a homemaker. She was a member of the Ambassador Club at Madonna Church, sang in the church choir at Clen-Moore Presbyterian church and also at Rhodes Estates, and was active with the K. Pulaski Ladies Auxiliary.Frances was a member of the former Madonna Church and attended St. Camillus Church.She is survived by one daugther, Debora Lynn Kucharski of Girard, OH; one son, David J. Kucharski of New Castle; one sister, Stella Capitola of New Castle.In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by six sisters; Mary Beatrice, Rose Sniezek, Sophie Boron, Helen Messersmith, Anna C. Herbut and Sister M. Consolata Boron; four brothers, Stanley, Joseph F., Walter and Frank Boron.Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 24, 2010, from 6:00-9:00 P.M. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle, PA.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, June 25 2010, at 10:30 A.M. at St. Camillus Church. The Rev. Thomas Lewandowski will officiate. Burial will be in Madonna Cemetery.Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Lawrence/Mercer Unit, 3208B Wilmington Road, New Castle, PA 16105.
