Frances M. Richards, 95, passed away January 15, 2020 in Augusta, Georgia. Born July 9, 1924 in Lanett, Alabama, daughter of Elbert T. and Louetta (Wilson) Morgan. She was preceded in death on February 10, 2015 by her husband of 67 years, Robert C. Richards, whom she married March 22, 1947. Frances was employed with Sewickley Valley Hospital as a pediatric RN and was a member of the Ohio United Presbyterian Church in Hopewell. She is survived by her son, Scott Richards of Dickinson, TX and her three daughters, Donna Kauffman of Evans, GA, Susan Richards of Augusta, GA and Barbara Farrow of Ambridge, PA; 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her five brothers, Elbert Jr, Charlie, Jack, Bobby and Billy. There will be a one hour visitation from 12:00-1:00 on Tuesday, January 28, at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle, PA followed by a 1:00 funeral service. Hunter Farrow, her grandson, will be officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery New Castle, PA. Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children or the Wounded Warrior Project.
