Frances M. Sullivan, age 100, of West Palm Beach, FL, formerly of New Castle, PA, and Lake Worth, FL, passed away the morning of April 10, 2021 at Lourdes Noreen McKeen, in FL.
Born May 30, 1920, in Pittsburgh, PA. she was the daughter of the late Stuart M. and Frances H. (Jones) Cope.
On December 17, 1943, she married her beloved husband of 53 years, John L. Sullivan. He preceded her in death on Dec. 28, 1996.
Mrs. Sullivan was a 1938 graduate of New Castle High School. After her graduation, she worked as a secretary at Johnson-Bronze for a short time. For 35 years she was an Executive Director at the American Lung Association. Frances was a member of various clubs including, Quota Club for 34 years and American Legion Auxiliary #343 New Castle. She was also a former member and worker for the PA Conference of Tuberculosis. She was a former member of Arlington Ave. Free Methodist Church. What gave Frances the most joy in life, was spending time with her family.
Frances is survived by one daughter, Francine (Earl) Yeary of Lake Worth, FL; one son, John S. (Becky) Sullivan of Greensburg, PA; two grandsons, Michael (Dorothy) Sullivan and Joseph Sullivan both of Greenburg, PA; a loving niece, Marsha Donelson of California and loving nephew, Gary Conners of Hermitage, PA.
Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Claribel Conners and Betty Jane Mortimer.
In keeping with her wishes there will be no visitation or services.
Burial will be at Castle View Memorial Gardens.
