Gary Michael Dodge, age 76, of New Castle, passed away the early morning of Sept. 30, 2022, at UPMC Jameson Hospital.

Born Feb. 1, 1946, in New Castle, PA to Kenneth J. and Lena (McIltrot) Dodge. Gary married the former Joyce Steingasser in Jan. of 1970 and they enjoyed 52 wonderful years together.

Gary graduated from New Castle High School in 1964. He joined the U.S. Air Force in Sept. of 1965 and was honorably discharged in Aug. of 1967, with the rank of Sergeant. After serving his country Gary attended Youngstown State University. He worked as an Electrical Estimator with M. Marino Electric, Inc., Bronder Technical Services, and Bruce & Merrilees Electric. After retirement he enjoyed working in his lawn, traveling to Disney World, cruises to the Caribbean and Alaska and a trip to Hawaii. He also enjoyed going to his granddaughter, Elie's swim meets, dance recitals and school programs.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce, son Michael (Michele) Dodge, granddaughter Elie Dodge, nieces Jill (Jim) Smolnik, Tracy (Bill) Smith, Amy (Michael) Pavlik, Sarah Steingasser, and sister-in-law, Kathy Steingasser.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother-in-law, David Steingasser.

As per Gary's request there will be no visitation or services.
