Gary W. Grundy, 62, of New Castle, passed away at his residence on August 25, 2017. Born October 10, 1954, he was the son of Daniel and Katherine Peters Grundy. A graduate of New Castle High School, he was employed with Rockwell Axel Division for 20 years. Gary was a proud Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He loved to read, talk to his family and friends and enjoyed his garden and hunting. Gary was the primary caregiver to his beloved mother and he will be cherished for his devotion to her. He was a loyal son, brother and friend. He is survived by his siblings: David (Lora) Grundy of Florida, Sandy (Mike) Vincent of Florida, James Grundy of New Castle, Mary Ann (Pete) Mangarella of New Jersey and Shawn (Beth) Grundy of Nevada; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Daniel Grundy, and a sister, Deborah Grundy. A private graveside service will be held at Oak Park Cemetery where he will be laid to eternal rest with his beloved mother. Arrangements are by the R.
