Gary L. Ruffley, 34, of 115 Savannah-Gardner Road, New Castle, passed away the evening of July 4, 2010.Gary was born April 12, 1976, in New Castle, the son of William J. Ruffley of Conneaut, PA and Joyce E. Wilson Ruffley of New Castle.He married the former Rebecca A. McClure on June 23, 2005. She survives.Gary attended New Castle High School and graduated from New Castle Vo-Tech. He also graduated from New Castle School of Trades and attended Butler County Community College. He was self-employed as a stock and bond trader.He attended Mary Mother of Hope Church.Gary loved computers and tractors. He enjoyed working on cars and playing with his children. Gary was also a member of the Mahoning Valley Sportsmans Club.In addition to his parents and wife, he is survived by two daughters, Anna Jean Ruffley of New Castle and Caitlyn Rose Ruffley, also of New Castle; two brothers, Jason E. Ruffley and Christopher J. Ruffley, both of New Castle.Gary was preceded in death by one son, Gary L. Ruffley, Jr.Visitation will be held from 11 to 1 p.m. Friday, July 9, 2010, at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle.Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, July 9, 2010, at the funeral home. The Rev. Bill Hunley of the First Church of God will officiate.Burial will take place at Parkside Cemetery, New Castle.Memorial contributions may be made the family.
