Gayle Stillwagon, age 62, of New Castle, passed away the early morning of Sept. 11, 2022, at UPMC Jameson Hospital.

Born Sept. 20, 1959, in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Carol Ann (Leckwart) Flowers.

She married Donald Stillwagon, who preceded her in death.

Gayle was a graduate of New Castle High School. For several years, she worked as a baker employed by Nowinski Pierogi. Gayle enjoyed playing cards and was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler's fan. Most of all, Gayle enjoyed the time she spent with her family.

Survivors include, one daughter, Valerie (Ryan) Navolio of Ellwood City, PA; one son, Jeffrey (Christina) Cartwright, Jr., of New Castle, PA; her siblings, three brothers, Gary Flowers, Richard (Shirley) Flowers, Harvey Flowers and sister, Diane (Wayne) Randall, all of New Castle, PA; and seven grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Jonathan Cartwright and former spouse, Jeffrey Cartwright, Sr.

Visitation will be held on Fri. Sept. 16th from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle.

A funeral service will take place immediately following visitation, at the funeral home, at 4:00 PM, with Pastor Curtis Massey officiating.
