Geraldine Louise Reese, age 81, of Enon Valley, PA, passed away peacefully the afternoon of Nov. 25th, 2025, at her residence surrounded by family and her favorite dog Peppa.
Born Jan. 5, 1944, in Pittsburgh, PA, she was the daughter of the late Brooke and Margaret (Rudy) Kimble.
Gerry attended St. George's Catholic School. She worked as a surgical technologist, employed by Heritage Valley Beaver, for many years until her retirement. Gerry enjoyed gardening, taking care of barn cats and chickens on the Clark family farm, and spending time with family and friends. Known as Nana and loved by all, she was a member of Westfield Presbyterian Church where she formerly served as a deacon and was actively involved with the mat-makers and JOY groups.
Survivors include one daughter, Margaret E. 'Peggy' (Ed) Clark of Enon Valley, PA; one son, G. Brooke Reese (Janine) of Erie, PA; one sister, Gail Kelly of White Oak, PA and a sister-in-law Linda (Bob) Klass of Plum Boro, PA. Her seven grandsons: Christopher (Megan) Rogers, Dylan (Kayla) Clark, Shane Clark, Troy Reese, Alec Reese, Cross Shelatz, and Creed Shelatz. Nana's six great-grandchildren: Cedar, Leif, and Saffron Tomczyk, Velociti Reese, Fable Rogers, and Evelyn Clark.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Brooke, Ellery, Gene and Paul Kimble.
Visitation will be held on Sat. Nov. 29th from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at the Westfield Presbyterian Church, 1363 Mt. Jackson Rd., New Castle, PA 16102. A memorial service to follow at noon with Pastor Sampson Covach.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Hillman Cancer Center in New Castle, and the staff of the 2300 unit of UPMC Jameson for their excellent care.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions should be made in Gerry's name to Westfield Presbyterian Church or the UPMC Pancreatic Cancer Research Center.
