Gertrude Zoltani, 88, of New Castle, passed away the morning of November 26, 2011 at the Overlook Medical Clinic in New Wilmington.Gertrude was born, in Eastbrook, on January 19, 1923 to the late Ernest and Margaret Houk Patterson. She married the late Frank Zoltani on September 18, 1946. He preceded her in death on August 21, 2010. Mrs. Zoltani was part of the dedicated office staff at Strouss's Department Store, during her working years. Gertrude was a faithful member of the Third Presbyterian Church.She is survived by one daughter, Sharon Lynn Zoltani of Cranberry Twp., PA; and one sister, Gladys McConnell of New Castle.Mrs. Zoltani was preceded in death by her parents; husband; four brothers, Clyde, Samuel, Harold & Ivan Patterson; and one sister, Irene Rose.Visitation will be held Tuesday, Nov 29, 2011, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Rd.Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Nov 30, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Michael Spicuzza, of Third Presbyterian Church, will officiate.
