Gladys M. Hulme, 93, of Pittsburgh, PA, passed away the morning of March 18, 2014 at her residence.Gladys was born in North Sewickley, PA to Harry and Claudia Price Miller on August 15, 1920. She was raised in Castlewood and attended Shenango Area Schools.She worked for many years at Bell Telephone and St. Francis Hospital.Gladys is survived by her two daughters, Claudia "Judy" Jones of New Castle, and Janice Hulme (and special friend Robert Griffin), with whom she made her home; a sister and brother-in-law, Ann and Bill Ellefson of Gettysburg, PA; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant sister Dorothy; her first husband, James Irvine; and second husband, Elmer Hulme.Per her wishes, there will be no calling hours. A memorial service will be held at a later date.Arrangements are by the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Wilmington Road.
