Glenn E. Reinhart, 88, of the Haven Convalescent Home, passed away the night of May 31, 2011 in the Haven.Born March 3, 1923, in New Castle, he was a son of the late Louis and Maude Truby Reinhart.He married Ella Rose Allison on April 4, 1942. She preceded him in death on June 3, 2007.He attended the Princeton School and was a Private First Class in the U.S. Army during World War II.Glenn was employed as a truck driver by Mrs. Smith's Pie Company from 1964 until retiring in 1985.While living in Birdsboro, PA, he was a Mason, a member of the Shrine, the American Legion and the VFW.Survivors include two daughters; Bonnie Reinhart of New Castle and Shirley "Jim" and husband Ed Rogers of Venus, TX; seven grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by one son, Glenn Herbert Reinhart; two brothers, Bill and Frank Reinhart; six sisters, Hilda Jefferies, Thelma Bailey, Helen Colbert, Pearl Daugherty, Mary Gibson and Jenny Fandozzi; and one grandson, Mark E. Duddy.Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2011, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road.A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 6, 2011, at 1:00 p.m. at the Birdsboro Cemetery in Birdsboro, PA.Burial will be in Birdsboro Cemetery, Birdsboro, PA.
