Glenn F. Wilson, age 94, of Beaver Falls PA, passed away the morning of December 22, 2018, at his residence. Born January 1, 1924, in Uniontown PA, he was the son of Tracy and Clara Belle (Stair) Wilson. He was married to his beloved wife, Elsie (Jolley) Wilson, who he met square dancing. They were married on May 21, 1955 and celebrated 63 wonderful years together. She survives at home. Mr. Wilson was a maintenance worker at Babcox-Wilcox Enterprises, Inc., where he retired in 1985. He and his wife, Elsie joined Pine Grove Rovers camping club, shortly after getting married. They continued to camp up until shortly before his death. Glenn had a lifelong hobby and passion of oil painting and art work. He was a member of College Hill UMC Church. Along with his wife, Elsie, Glenn is survived by two daughters; Laura (Jeff) Campbell of New Castle PA, LuAnn (Tom) Fortune of Orlando FL, one sister; Lois Heasley of Jupiter FL, four grandchildren; Leah (Jamie) Poerio of New Castle, Jeffery Campbell II of Amarillo TX, Tommy (Melissa) Fortune of Orlando FL, Robbie (Jennifer) Fortune of Stow OH, six great-grandchildren; Zachary, who was born on Glenn and Elsie's 44th wedding anniversary, Jaiden, Trip, Tallulah, Gabriella, Joseph Glenn. Glenn in preceded in death by his parents, three brothers; Willard, Hayes and Dale Wilson and three sisters; Rhoda, Marne and Margaret. Visitation will be on Sunday, December 30 from 2:00 - 4:00 PM at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle. A service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, December 31 at noon, with Rev. Darryl Lockie of College Hill UMC Church, officiating. Burial will be at Castle View.
