Glenna J. Nene Brown, 84, of New Castle passed away the night of November 18, 2015, at Jameson Hospital. Born April 18, 1931 in New Castle, she was a daughter of James T. and Anna Kennedy Nene. She was a 1949 graduate of New Castle High School. She was employed by Bell Telephone as an operator. She retired as a bookkeeper from Pepsi Cola and the New Castle Transit Authority. She was a member of St. Jude Episcopal Church and was involved in many church functions. Her hobbies included crochet and bowling. She is survived by one son, Tim (Patricia) Robinson of Cooper City, Florida and two grandchildren, Heather and Christoper Robinson. She was preceded in death by her parents and one grandchild, Amber Lynn Robinson. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road. A service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Father Adam Trambley officiating.
