Glenna Jean Yoho, 77, a resident of Silver Oaks Nursing Center since July, 2009, formerly of 617 Raymond Street, passed away the afternoon of January 25, 2011 in Silver Oaks.Born November 2, 1933 in New Castle, she was a daughter of Aaron James and Clorish Irene Houston Yoho.She was a graduate of New Castle High School. After 45 years of service as a clerk with Bell Telephone Company, she retired in 1995.She was a member of the Pioneer's Club of Bell Telephone and several card clubs. Glenna liked playing cards, shopping, reading and collecting recipes. She also enjoyed taking pictures, using the movie camera and spending time with her family, friends and especially her cat, Cloe'.Survivors include a brother A. Wayne Yoho and his wife Betty Jean Yoho of New Castle; six nephews, Gregg Yoho and his wife Barbara, Alan Yoho and his wife Lori, Mark Yoho, Douglas Yoho and his wife Judy all of New Castle, David Yoho and his wife, Debbie, and Darrell Yoho and his wife Donna all of Sugarland, TX; five great-nieces and 1 great nephew.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Donald Dean Yoho and his wife Shirley; one nephew, former mayor of New Castle, Dale W. Yoho; and great-niece, Erin Yoho.Visitation will be held on Thursday, Jan 27, 2011, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and Friday, Jan 28, 2011, from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road.A funeral service will be held on Friday, Jan 28, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. The Rev. John Yergan will officiate.
