Glenola Mae Jones, 91, of New Castle, passed away the morning of December 1, 2019 at Edison Manor. She was born on August 18, 1928 at home in New Castle to John C. and Elizabeth (Wagner) Jones. She was their caregiver for many years. Glenola worked at several jobs, but her most enjoyable was playing guitar and singing with a country music band. She is survived by two sisters, Winifred I. (Kenneth) Black and Helen McMurray, both of New Castle; and three sisters-in-law, Linda Jones, Glenevee Jones and Louise Jones all of New Castle. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by six brothers, Clair, Norman, John, Leroy, Lloyd and Richard Jones; and two sisters, Viola Rohde and Verlee Anderson. In keeping with her wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Interment will be in Mt. Hermon Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the R.
