Hans R. Ostermeyer, age 34, of New Castle, passed away the morning of May 27, 2023.

Born June 19, 1988, in Pittsburgh, PA, he was the son of Robert R. (Amy J. Bryner) Ostermeyer and Joi Ann Troisi.

Hans was a 2007 graduate of Laurel High School. After graduation, he went on to study at BC3. He enjoyed playing baseball, football and wrestling at Laurel and continued to play baseball at BC3. Hans continued to play softball for various organizations. He owned and operated his own landscaping business, Rescape it, Hardscapes by Hans. He was an accomplished outdoorsman, excelling in hunting and fishing. Hans was a wrestling coach and mentor for Laurel and New Castle High Schools. He was a personal trainer with a passion for fitness, and an award-winning body builder.

In addition to his parents, Hans is survived by one brother, Luke R. Ostermeyer of Portersville, PA; two sisters, Tanya A. Ostermeyer-Rockovich of Frederick, MD, and Natalie R. Bryner Eisenman of Pittsburgh, PA; paternal grandmother, Doris (Miller) Ostermeyer; maternal grandfather, John Troisi; Aunt Nancy (Lewis) Ostermeyer; two nieces, Lila and Lola; his girlfriend, Cietmar Zaira Swanson, and his beloved dog, "Blake".

Hans was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Richard R. Ostermeyer and maternal grandmother, Patricia Ann Delycure Troisi.

Visitation will be held on Fri. June 2nd from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle, PA 16105.

A service will take place immediately following visitation, at the funeral home, at 8:00 PM.

A burial and graveside service will take place, on Sat. June 3rd at 3:00 PM, at Park Lawn Cemetery, 20 Gibson St., Jamestown, PA 16134.
