Helen L. Haydo Dean, 92, Of Savannah-Gardner Rd. New Castle Pa. passed away on Friday evening, September 10, 2010, at the Avalon Nursing Center.Born December 14, 1917 in Ellwood City, Pa., Helen was the daughter of the late Julius and Elizabeth Kish Haydo.She was married to George A. Dean for 41 years until his passing in January of 1980.Helen was a graduate of Lincoln High School. She worked as a nurse's aide at Jameson Hospital, and her hobbies included homemaking and taking care of her family. Helen was a member of Castlewood CMA Church.She is survived by three sons, Richard Dean and his wife Linda, David Dean and his wife Jeanne. and Robert Dean and his wife Jacki all of New Castle; six grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.In addition to her husband and parents, Helen was preceded in death by two brothers, Julius and Joseph Haydo; and one sister, Elizabeth Kardish.Visitation will be Monday, Sept. 13, 2010 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory 2429 Wilmington Rd.A funeral service will be on Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2010, at 11 a.m. at The Castlewood CMA Church. The Rev.
