Helen E. Sadler, 96, of Falls Avenue, passed away the afternoon of June 19, 2013 at Haven Convalescent Home. Born September 25, 1916, in New Castle, she was a daughter of William Albert Sadler and Mary Tanner Sadler. Helen was employed with Shenango China for 43 years as a decorator. She enjoyed reading, and was an avid book reader. Helen was a member of First Church of God on Euclid Avenue. She is survived by one sister, Dorothy Bromley, of New Castle; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, James Sadler; and two sisters, Della Wilson and Alberta Mitchell. Visitation will be held Thursday, June 20, 2013, from 6-8 p.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road. A funeral service will take place Friday, June 21, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Bill Hunley officiating. Burial will be in Oak Park Cemetery.
