Henrietta A. Coleman, age 90, of New Castle, passed away the morning of April 19, 2016 at her residence.
Born July 8, 1925 in Staten Island, NY she was the daughter of Felix and Victoria Kuberski Kucharski.
Surviving at home is her husband of 68 years, John J. Coleman whom she married February 8, 1948.
Henrietta was a graduate of Port Richmond High School in Staten Island.
She was a homemaker.
Among her many interests, Henrietta enjoyed cooking, gardening, sewing, crossword puzzles, and playing cards.
In addition to her husband John, she is survived by three daughters, Debra Coleman of Manhattan, NY, Victoria Accardo of Lake Hopatcong, NJ, and Nadine Kaiser of Rivervale, NJ; two sons, John (Dr. Silvia) Coleman, Jr of New Castle, and Patrick Coleman of East Windsor, NJ; ten grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, John, Charles, Alfred, and Thaddeus; and four sisters, Irene, Bunny, Cookie, and Halina.
Visitation will be held on Friday from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home, 2429 Wilmington Road.
A funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday for St. Mary's, where a Mass of Christian burial will take place at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Church with the Father Larry Adams officiating.
Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
