Ila Corrine Kish, age 94, formerly of Shenango Twp., New Castle, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, the afternoon of Aug. 15, 2022, at The Grove Manor, in Grove City, PA. Born Jan. 13, 1928, in Washington, PA, she was the daughter of the late J. Russell and Margaret May (Nordstrom) Fetherlin. On July 12, 1952, she married her beloved husband of 65 years, David L. Kish. He preceded her in death on May 27, 2018. Corrine was a graduate of Trinity High School in Washington, PA. She earned her registered nursing degree at Washington Hospital Nursing School. Corrine worked for Dr. Whalen's office and also at Jameson Hospital, until her retirement. Corrine enjoyed knitting, baking, outdoor activities, and her boxer dogs. Above everything else she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of First Baptist Church where she was involved in 3 M Class, Choir, Nora Landis Missionary Circle, GALS Bible Study and MOPS. Survivors include her children, one daughter, Marybeth (Jude) Harrington of Huntingdon, PA; three sons, David (Lani) Kish of Gig Harbor, WA, Paul (Brenda) Kish of Salem, OH, and Stephen (Shelley) Kish of Volant, PA; one brother, Edward Fetherlin of Jensen Beach, FL; two sisters, Jean L. Conrade of The Villages, FL, Karen (Dr. Charles) Shapiro of Loudon, TN; eleven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Corrine was preceded in death by one brother, Second Lieutenant (USMC) Ronald L. Fetherlin. In keeping with her wishes there will be no visitation or services. Burial will be alongside her husband at Graceland Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the R.
