Jack L. Ferguson, 79, of New Castle, died February 17, 2011 in Friendship Ridge Nursing Home, Beaver, PA.Born May 6, 1931 in West Point, Nebraska, he was a son of Kindred S. and Jessie Williams Ferguson. He married Marlyn Forbes Ferguson on June 23, 1952. She preceded him in death on February 6, 2006.He was the owner of Ferguson's Septic Tank Cleaning.Jack was a free mason of the Scottish Rite and a member of Neshannock Presbyterian Church.He is survived by two sons, Kindred L. Ferguson of Freedom, PA and Roger E. Ferguson of New Castle; and four grandchildren.In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Donna Ethridge; one brother and one sister.Visitation will be Sunday, Feb. 20, 2011, from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road.A funeral service will be held on Monday, Feb. 21, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. at the Neshannock Presbyterian Church, 154 Fairground Road, New Castle. The Rev. Gary Waguespack will officiate.
