Jack J. Smith, 59, of 802 East Hillcrest Avenue, New Castle, entered into rest the morning of July 22, 2010 in his home.Jack was born on September 17, 1950, in Portland, OR, to the late Donald W. and Dorothy McDougal Smith. He married the former Norma Simon on April 22, 1972. She survives at their residence.Jack served our country with the United States Navy. He is currently employed by Donohue Rail Equipment Inc. since 1986 as General Manager. Jack is a member of St. Camillus Church.In his free time he enjoyed hunting, fishing and being outdoors. He was a member of the Fryburg Sportsman's Club.In addition to his wife, Jack is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Charlette and Scott Manbeck of Arnold, MD; three sisters, Carmella Wyatt of Vancouver, WA, twin sister, Judy Jensen of Portland, OR, and Joyce Stevenson of Tucson, AZ; two grandsons, Jacob and Logan Manbeck; and step-mother, Lolly Smith of Puyallup, WA.In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by one sister, Patricia Leach; and three brothers, Sonny, Wesley and Donald Cogger.Visitation will be Saturday, July 24, 2010, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle.A blessing service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday, July 25, 2010, at the funeral home. The Rev.
