James A. Gray, Jr, age 71, passed away on the morning of October 18, 2024, at his residence.

Born February 10, 1953, in New Castle, PA, he was the son of the late Eva Jean (Adams) and James A. Gray.

On June 24, 2004, James married his beloved wife, Sarah (Eagan) Gray. She survives at home.

James was employed by Den Vend working in route sales. He spent his time serving his community through Eagles #455, Moose Lodge, VFW #315, and being a member of the Cultural German Society.

In addition to his wife, Sarah, survivors include one son, Matthew Gray of New Castle; two stepchildren, Rachel Hennon of Virginia and Ronald Druschel of New Castle; one brother, Gary Gray of New Castle; one sister, Carol Birney of New Castle, as well as 5 grandchildren.

James was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Barbara Clark.

In keeping with James' wishes there will be no services at this time.
