James M. "Jim" Kelly, 69, of Neshannock Township, went to be with the Lord the morning of March 27, 2012 at the Overlook Medical Clinic.Born March 2, 1943 in Newark, NJ, he was a son of Edward and Theresa Smegal Kelly. He is survived by his wife, Kathryn English Sipe Kelly, whom he married on April 21, 2007.Jim was a union representative and was in the publishing business. He was retired from Staples in Hermitage.He held various positions on the Board of Elections in both Lawrence and Mercer Counties and was active with the Pro-Life organization in Mercer County.Jim was a member of Victory Christian Center, Coitsville Campus, where he was involved with many activities.In addition to his wife, he is survived by one step-daughter, Melissa Sipe of New Castle; three step-sons, Francis Sipe of Bessemer, Preston Sipe of New Castle, and Christopher Sipe of Girard, PA; one brother, Edward and wife Jeanne Kelly of North Carolina; one step-granddaughter, Courtney Sipe; and numerous nieces and cousins.He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Marcella Kelly.Visitation will be held on Friday, March 30, 2012 from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. at Victory Christian Center, Coitsville Campus, 3899 McCartney Road, Coitsville, Ohio.A funeral service will take place immediately following the visitation at 12:00 p.m. at the church. Pastor Joe Thomas will officiate.Memorial contributions may be given to the family.
