James C. Kradel, Sr., age 85 of New Castle, passed away the morning of June 8, 2020, at his residence. Born June 11, 1934, in New Castle, he was the son to the late Duke and Nancy (Johnston) Kradel. He married Carol Ann (Sarbo) Kradel, who preceded him in death on Nov. 10, 2019. James was a self-employed truck driver for the past 40 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, riding motorcycles and water skiing. He was a member of the Shenango China hunting & fishing club. He is survived by his daughter, Terry Kradel of New Castle; two grandsons, James Heaney, and John Heaney; and two great-grandchildren, Haley Kradel and Asher Heaney. In addition to his parents and wife, Carol, James was preceded in death by one son, James C. Kradel, Jr., one grandson, Corey Kradel and three sisters. In keeping with his wishes there will be no visitation or services. Burial will be at Castle View Cemetery.
