Jane Lorraine Brown, age 81, of New Castle, PA, passed away the afternoon of July 21, 2023, at her residence.

Born Jan. 16, 1942, in Grove City, PA, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth James and Frances M. (Hedglin) Martin.

On Aug. 19, 1960, she married her husband of 62 years, Robert 'Bob' F. Brown. He survives at home.

Mrs. Brown was a graduate of New Wilmington High School. She was employed by the Villa Maria working in the transportation department for 25 years. Jane always enjoyed doing crafts, such as sewing, making dolls, and needlepoint. She loved her time at Oakpointe Christian Center, where she was a member for 40 years.

In addition to her husband, Jane is survived by one daughter, Tammie S. Romano of Colorado; two sisters, Arlene F. Martin of Volant, PA, and Carolyn K. (John) Leslie; two grandchildren, Alycia (Lucas) During and Vincent Fortuna.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Cindy Lou Brown.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 25th at 11:00 AM at South Plain Grove Cemetery with Dr. Abel Robles officiating.
