Janet M. Morris, age 92, formerly of Egg Harbor, NJ, went to be with her Lord and Savior the afternoon of June 21, 2020, at her daughter's residence, in New Castle. Born October 12, 1927 in Cheltenham, PA, she was the daughter of the late Gilbert and Margaret (Link) Myers. On January 25, 1947, she married her beloved husband of 48 years, Thomas E. Morris. He preceded her in death on October 22, 1995. Janet was a homemaker who enjoyed reading, word search, and her cats. What gave Janet the most joy in life, was spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was a member of Victory Bible Church in Hammonton, New Jersey. Janet is survived by five daughters, Carol (Dennis) Patterson of New Castle, PA, Susan (Jack) Uber of New Bedford, PA, Janice King of Easton, PA, Patricia (Bruce) Goods of Somers Point, NJ, Gail (Caleb) Cavileer of Egg Harbor, NJ; two sons, Thomas E. (Cindra) Morris, Jr., of Yardley, PA, James Morris of Pleasantville, NJ; one brother, Robert A. Myers of Horsham, PA; 18 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Janet was preceded in death by one son, John Morris and one grandson, Thomas Pisarcik. In keeping with her wishes, a memorial service will be held at a later date in New Jersey. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the R.
