Jason James Houston, 44, of Eastbrook, went home to be his Lord and Savior on the evening of April 27, 2022.
Born on February 23, 1978 in New Castle, Jason was the son of James McClurg Houston and Diane Giardini Houston. He was a graduate of Laurel High School and the IBEW Local 712 Apprenticeship Program. Jason was a fourth generation electrician and third generation electrical contractor.
Jason was a co-owner of McCurley Houston Electric. He also sat on the IBEW Local 712 Apprenticeship Board. In his free time, he liked to ride motorcycles with his wife and spend time with his family. He was a great friend and gave of himself freely and generously to meet others' needs.
Jason married the love of his life, Cynthia Lauren McMillin on June 18, 2011. She survives him along with the second love of his life, Annaleigh Cynthia Houston. Annaleigh and her Daddy loved to play games, go swimming and have tea parties.
Jason is also survived by his parents, his sister Jacquelyn (Daniel) Pontius, his brother by marriage, TJ McMillin, and two nieces, Diana and Danielle Pontius.
Jason was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jack and Patricia Houston and Emidio (Dave) and Christine Giardini.
Visitation will be held from 10-12 on Saturday, May 7, 2022, at First Baptist Church at 984 W. Maitland Lane. A Celebration of Life service will take place immediately after at 12:00 with the Rev. Scott Fredericks officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the New Castle Christian Academy located at 1701 Albert Street, New Castle, PA 16105.
