Jay A. Priest, 73, of Shenango Township, passed away at his residence the morning of September 16, 2014, surrounded by his loving family.Born August 30, 1941 in Washington, Pa., he was a son of Forest Nason Priest and Amelia Katheryn Nelan Priest.He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Susan B. Stolzer Priest, whom he married August 18, 1962.Jay was a graduate of Central Dauphin High School in Harrisburg.Jay was dedicated to his business, Priest Enterprises, providing industrial services for over 30 years.He enjoyed boating and motor sports, working on any type of engines. Jay's greatest times were those spent with his family, enjoying together all their adventures.In addition to his wife, he is survived by his two children, daughter Jill Priest of New Castle; son Andy (Lisa) Priest of Grove City; brother Roy Oliver (Marianne) Priest of Houston, Tx; sister Kay (Douglas) Gorse of Hummelstown, Pa; and one granddaughter, Samantha Priest.He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Edward "Ned" Priest, in 1996; and a sister, Anita Louise Malseed, in 1980.Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 18, 2014, from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and Friday, September 19, 2014, from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road.A funeral service will take place Friday, September 19, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home and will be officiated by Rev. Bill Beck.A beautiful life has passed among us.Burial will be in Mt.
