Jean Ellen Dallura, aged 60, of New Castle, passed away Oct. 3, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Born October 27, 1964, in Long Island, NY, she was the daughter of Walter J. and Therese M. (Mooney) Spencer.

She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Joseph Michael Dallura, whom she married Sept. 22, 1985.

Jean was a graduate of Monroe Woodbury Central High School in Central Valley, New York. She continued her education at Saddleback College in Mission Viejo, California obtaining her Associate Science Degree in Clinical Medical Assisting and Associates of Science Degree in Nursing (A.D.N.). As well, she went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Western Governors University. While primarily working most of her nursing career in California, she and her husband Joe moved to New Castle where she worked as a Registered Nurse in the PACU and Pre-op departments at Jameson Hospital, New Castle, PA.

Jean enjoyed her everyday life with her family, and especially their four-prized working Labrador Retrievers. Outdoor activities with her family were essential, but most mornings you could find her at the local gym, yes, she was a Gym-Rat!

In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son, Sean Michael Dallura of Newport Beach, CA; two sisters, Nancy Spencer of Union Township and Marian (Richard) Beskosty of Hudson, New Hampshire; and two brothers, Kevin (Rosemarie) Spencer of Westlake Ohio and Brian (Ron Bell) Spencer of Buda, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

In keeping with her wishes, private services were held at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle.
