Jeanne E. Salzman, 79, of Edinburg, passed away the afternoon of March 27, 2011 at her residence.Born September 5, 1931 in Edinburg, PA, she was a daughter of Joseph and Alice Coates Park.She married Joseph E. Salzman on June 25, 1949. He preceded her in death on March 12, 1994.Jeanne attended the Edinburg Elementary School and was a graduate of Union High School.She was a homemaker.Jeanne was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary for Mahoning Township Fire Department. She enjoyed bowling, travel and spending time with her family.She was a member of the New Castle Bible Church.Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Jacqueline and Gary Janezic of Aurora, OH; one son, Jeffrey D. Salzman of Boulder, CO; one brother, Harry Blaine Park of New Castle; and two grandsons, Timothy Janezic and Gregory Janezic.In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one sister, Donna Stewart, and two brothers, Joseph Park and Richard Park.Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 30, 2011, from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc, 2429 Wilmington Road.A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 31, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. The Rev. Max Bungard will officiate.Burial will be in Oak Park Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to New Castle Bible Church, 2762 W.
