Jeannette G. Gross, 76, of Ellwood City, passed away May 30, 2013, at Good Samaritan Hospice at Heritage Valley, Beaver, PA. Born December 21, 1936, in Butler County, she was the daughter of Willis W. Gold, Sr. and Gladys Schaeffer Gold. She was preceded in death on December 25, 2003 by her husband, Charles J. Gross. A homemaker, Jeannette was a former member of the New Castle Bridge Club. She was also a board member of the New Castle Woman's Bowling Association and secretary of several bowling leagues in New Castle. Jeannette is survived by a daughter, Lisa J. Gross of New Castle; a son, Brian C. Gross and his wife Beth of East Canton, Ohio; and twin grandsons, Jeffery and Jonathon Gross. In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by two brothers, Willis Gold, Jr. and Patrick Gold; and a sister, Victoria Malvarose. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 5, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory Inc. 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle. The funeral service will be held Thursday, June 6, at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home and will be officiated by Rev. Dennis Bupp. Burial will be in Mt. Hermon Cemetery.
