Jeffrey K. Campbell, Sr., age 68, of New Castle, passed away on Feb. 22, 2022, at his residence.
Born Aug. 16, 1953, in New Castle, he was the son of Edward E. and H. Margaret (Serwatka) Campbell.
For 44 years, he was married to his soul mate, Laura (Wilson) Campbell. She survives at home.
Jeff was a graduate of Neshannock High School and attended Youngstown State University. He was employed by Pestco, as a service technician. He loved boating and fishing, with his wife at Moraine State Park, where they spent several years exploring the park. In addition to the outdoors, he and his wife shared a love for animals and wildlife. He was an excellent craftsman and could build or fix just about anything. Jeff also loved to bowl, and he was a member of several leagues at Colonial Lanes. Above everything else, Jeff loved his family dearly and put them first. He was a devoted husband, son, brother, and father. Jeff will always be remembered for his ready humor and his optimistic way of trying to make everyone laugh.
In addition to his wife, Jeff is survived by daughter, Leah K. (Jamie) Poerio of New Castle, PA; son Jeffrey K. Campbell II, of Amarillo TX; three grandsons, Zachary & Jaiden Poerio, and Jeffrey K. Campbell, III; and his much-loved sister, Sherry Campbell of Pittsburgh, PA.
His family will celebrate his life at a later date.
