Jeffrey Edward Durbin, age 59, of New Castle, passed away October 8, 2023, at his home.

Born April 21, 1964, in Hammond, Indiana, he was the son of Lynda L. (Engle) Durbin.

After his graduation from New Castle High School, Jeff attended Slippery Rock University where he received his bachelor's degree in accounting. He used his degree after gaining employment with Littell Steel Company for 22 years as an accountant.

Golf and hunting were among his varied interests. He was a past member of Grace Bible Church.

Jeff is survived by his wife, Jeanette Marie (Altman) Durbin; two sons, Josh (Megan) Altman of Shenango Township and Jordan Altman of Laurel; two brothers, Bruce (Sandra) Durbin of Ellwood City and Scott (Lisa) Durbin of Shenango Township; and several nieces, great nieces and nephews.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Private family services will be held at the convenience of the family.
