Jennifer Lynn Boydell (Geoghegan), age 68, of New Castle, PA, passed away the evening of Oct. 9, 2025, at UPMC Mercy Hospital, in Pittsburgh, PA.

Born Jan. 22, 1957, in Jefferson City, MO, she was the daughter of the late Michael W. Geoghegan and Lou Ellen (Bauer) Gillett.

Jennifer attended and graduated from High School in Fostoria, Ohio. She earned her LPN and OR Tech Certification from Practical Nursing School, in Bowling Green, Ohio. Over several years, Jennifer had a successful nursing career with UPMC. Among her many interests Jennifer enjoyed concerts, traveling, and being outdoors. She was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Pittsburgh Penguins fan.

In addition to her mother, Jennifer is survived by one son, Matthew (Kayla) Zion of New Castle, PA; one brother, Tim (Jill) Geoghegan of Charleston, SC; one sister, Kathy (Rick) Martin of Fairfield, OH; one stepsister, Jeananne Gillett of Findlay, OH; and two grandchildren, Hudson, and Hayden Zion.

She was preceded in death by her father, her husband David Boydell, her brother, Michael P. Geoghegan, and her stepfather, Robert O. Gillett.

In keeping with her wishes there will be no visitation or services.
